Q. How long does the journey take?

A cruise between Westminster & Greenwich takes between 40-60 minutes. A return trip from Westminster to Greenwich & back takes approximately 2 hours.

A cruise between St. Katharine Pier & Greenwich takes between 20-30 minutes. A return trip from St. Katharine Pier to Greenwich & back takes approximately 1 hour.

A cruise between Westminster & Greenwich via the Thames Barrier takes approximately 2 hours. A return trip from Westminster to Greenwich via the Thames Barrier & back takes approximately 3 hours.

A cruise between St. Katharine Pier & Greenwich via the Thames Barrier takes approximately 90 minutes. A return trip from St. Katharine Pier to Greenwich via the Thames Barrier & back takes approximately 2 hours.

A cruise from Greenwich Pier to the Thames Barrier takes approximately 1 hour.

Q. Can we disembark at Greenwich, St. Katharine Pier or Westminster & take a later boat back?

If you have a return ticket or a Riverpass you can disembark & take a later boat back.

Returning boats are usually every 40-minutes between November-March & every 30-minutes between April-October. Remember to check the time of the last boat with the crew & ticket agents.

Q. Can we disembark at the Thames Barrier?

Pre-booked groups can arrange to embark or disembark at Barrier Gardens Piers near the Thames Barrier Information Centre.

Groups wishing to embark or disembark at Barrier Gardens Pier must book direct with Thames River Services.

Q. Is there a commentary on-board?

We have a Wi-Fi Audio Guide available in English, Spanish, French, Italian, German & Mandarin. This feature is available on selected vessels in the fleet. (Smart device & headphones are not provided).
