Alternatively you can make your own way back to Bankside on foot or via Transport for London Services.

*Please Note: Bankside Pier is only staffed at peak times. We advise passengers to arrive at Bankside no later than 15 minutes before your chosen departure & wait at the far end of the pier (closest to the Millennium Footbridge).

Our boats only call at Bankside Pier on the journey downriver. If you have booked a return trip you may have to change boat at Tower Bridge Quay. The return sailing will travel to Westminster Pier. Once arriving at Westminster there may be a wait of up to 1-hour to continue your journey downriver to Bankside. Alternatively passengers can disembark at Tower Bridge Quay & walk or take public transport back to Bankside.


Your ticket is an Open Ticket & can be used on any sailing on your chosen route & date.

With a Return Ticket passengers can disembark at Greenwich Pier & return to Tower Bridge on a later sailing. Don’t forget to check our return times online & with our pier team on the day.

Please Note: Bankside Pier is currently only available for disembark. Passengers can join our services from Festival Pier (a 20-minute walk from Bankside) & Tower Bridge Quay (a 24-minute walk from Bankside Pier).


All of our cruises take place on-board spacious passenger boats with heated interiors & open decks. 

Onboard Café Bars are open on Saturdays & Sundays serving hot drinks, soft drinks, alcoholic drinks & light snacks. Some sailings between Monday & Friday may also have refreshments available. (Read More)

About the Cruise

Join us for a 5-10 Minute (Single) or 1 Hour (Return*) trip from Bankside Pier to Tower Bridge Quay (St. Katharine Pier). The cruise departs Bankside Pier & travels downriver through the City of London before passing beneath Tower Bridge & arriving at Tower Bridge Quay.

During the cruise we pass beneath a number of London’s iconic bridges including the Millennium Bridge, London Bridge & Tower Bridge & pass more than 22 of London’s famous riverside landmarks including the St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Shard, HMS Belfast & the Tower of London.

After passing the Tower of London the cruise will continue beneath Tower Bridge before calling at Tower Bridge Quay to disembark passengers.
